From Zero to Infinity - Kährs Circular Journey of Enomer Flooring
Kährs is excited to introduce Infinity, a new PVC-free resilient flooring designed for high-performance applications like schools and healthcare. Part of the Enomer® family, Infinity includes a high percentage of recycled material, reducing its climate footprint even further.
A Step Toward Circularity
Kährs Infinity extends the company’s commitment to sustainability. In 2023, Kährs pioneered a take-back program for PVC-free resilient flooring installation waste, which now contributes to Infinity's material composition. This initiative underscores Kährs’ dedication to creating circular products that minimize waste and support sustainable practices.
“I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished with this collection—innovative product development, a pioneering take-back program, and superior sustainability qualities.”
Sara Olofsson, CCO Commercial
Sustainable Features of Kährs Infinity
Kährs Infinity is made with 50-90% recycled materials and is fully recyclable, contributing to a circular economy. It shares performance qualities with Kährs Zero, including high durability and resistance to chemicals, dirt, and bacteria. Manufactured in Kährs' Finland factory, Infinity also features transparency with relevant certifications to support sustainable project specifications.
The Enomer® Advantage
Enomer® is a safe, eco-friendly material made from four clean components: EVA polymers, ionomer, limestone, and colour pigments. It is free from PVC, plasticizers, chlorine, phthalates, and heavy metals, ensuring a healthier choice for both people and the planet.
By offering products like Infinity, Kährs continues to lead the way in sustainable flooring solutions, reducing environmental impact and promoting a circular economy.
